If you’ve been watching the latest series of Married At First Sight Australia then you’ll know that one bride in particular has been dominating the storylines. We’re of course talking about Jacqui Burfoot, whose relationship with Ryan Donnelly and dramas with the other brides have been keeping us entertained on the show.
Most recently, Jacqui found herself at the centre of controversy when groom Jeff Gobbels revealed she’d text him asking to meet up without his wife Rhi Disljenkovic.
But that’s not the only reason that Jacqui and Rhi have clashed, as Jacqui recently claimed Rhi was a ‘bully’ in an explosive TikTok video. Rhi has now clapped back at Jacqui and it’s safe to assume that these two aren’t going to be pals any time soon.]

‘Seeing the things that Jacqui is writing at the moment is almost laughable because I have a whole cast that will back me up and know that I was never a bully,’ Rhi said.
‘I never commented negatively on her appearance, I never slut-shamed her. I never put her relationship down,’ she added to Daily Mail Australia.
In another interview, Rhi admitted she found it ‘hard’ to get on with Jacqui and questioned how ‘genuine’ she was.

‘It’s funny, you do see people talking about ‘bad edits’ and so far I think what has been shown on TV is exactly what people are like,’ she told Yahoo! Lifestyle.
‘There was a lot of Jacqui crying and that’s why it started to lose its effect. I think that when someone can just turn it off and on like that, it does make you question how genuine they are.’

Rhi added, ‘I tried multiple times throughout filming to see where she was coming from; that’s why I said I find Jacqui really hard to relate to. She can be a really nice person, and we’ve had some good chats, and there are times where I’m like, “Oh we’re getting on”. But then the constant flip-flops and contradictions make it really hard.
‘So maybe for the cameras, she may have been a bit more performative or maybe exaggerated how she felt? I’m honestly not sure. I kind of feel bad saying that, but it’s a tough one to understand.’
