If you've spent any time in London lately, chances are you've been constantly baffled by the state of the weather and counting down the days until May 17 as though it was Christmas Day.

Yes, you'll be relieved to know that indoor dining is FINALLY back on the menu this week. That's right, it's time to bid farewell to dining al fresco in the middle of a thunderstorm as you watch your starter get blown down the high street. It might even (touch wood) be time to finally put your Big Coat away for the year and stop wearing fleece-lined jeans to the pub.

To mark the long awaited return of indoor dining a number of our favourite haunts are pulling out all the stops to celebrate and we've rounded up some of the best deals on offer. And the good news for the organisationally challenged? You don't need to have had a booking in place since March.

Franco Manca

Not only have all of Franco Manca's venues reopened this week, the popular pizzeria has two new London locations in Borough Market and Holborn. To celebrate the opening of the new locations diners can try any sourdough pizza on the menu for just £5 from the Holborn branch from now until Sunday or pick up a £5 sourdough on the go from the Borough Market pizzeria. A right bargain if you ask us.

Byron have a new burger on the menu (the aptly named Freedom Burger. Lockdown who, hun?) and are hosting a Free Burger Day at their Covent Garden branch this on May 21. The first guests to arrive between 3 and 5pm this Friday will be able to get their hands on a free Byron, Cali Cheese or Clucky burger to celebrate the return of indoor dining.

King's Cross 'Hot Ticket'

Let's face it, it's been a nightmare to get a reservation lately. That's why King's Cross and Coal Drops Yard are launching the 'Hot Ticket' so even the organisationally challenged amongst us can manage to get a table. You need to visit @kingscrossn1c on Instagram to be in with a chance of scoring a table at restaurants such as Barrafina, German Gymnasium, Casa Pastor and Plaza Pastor.
