Doing Veganuary is a challenge at the best of times, but it can be especially tricky to stick with it when all your friends want to go out for dinner or get takeaways.
Luckily, Nando’s has your back with their brand-new Spiced Chickpea Burger, which is guaranteed to spice up the menu this January.
Served in Nandos' signature Portuguese roll and costing just £7.55, the burger contains a tasty chickpea and spinach patty, with hints of cumin, coriander and turmeric – loaded with houmous, red pepper chutney and topped with red pickled onions.
Not only that, but the Mango & Lime level of spice on the PERi-ometer is back, meaning you can flavour the burger exactly how you want it without feeling embarrassed for ordering Lemon & Herb.
Maybe you’re not going fully vegan and just have a resolution to eat more plant-based food stuffs, in which case the return of their Portobello Mushroom & Halloumi Pitta, served with chilli jam, wild garlic aioli and lettuce is bound to be a hit with you.
We love that Nando’s is committed to becoming Net Zero by 2030 and is already carbon neutral in most of their restaurants.
Right we’re starting to feel a bit peckish… cheeky Nando’s anyone?
