Just when you thought weâd reached peak Millennial with the arrival of colour-changing flavoured gin, KitKat have revealed their Millennial Pink chocolate bar will be launching in Europe, UK and America. Can we get a communal âYAAAAASâ?
The baby pink bar originally launched in Japan and South Korea earlier this year, but the guys and gals over at Nestlé have decided to bring the KitKat Chocolatory Sublime Ruby bar (great name) over to this side of the world.
The new four-finger wafer bar is called the KitKat Ruby in the UK and is made out of naturally pink âRubyâ chocolate, created last year by Swiss cocoa producer Barry Callebaut. The pink chocolate is made using ruby cocoa beans, which also add a subtle berry flavour. Pretty and delicious, what more could you want?
âWe know that a new type of KitKat is a really big deal and we are very excited to be able to offer a different type of chocolate for KitKat fans to try,â Alex Gonnella, marketing director for NestlĂ©'s UK confectionery business explained to MailOnline.
âAfter the extremely successful launch of KitKat Chocolatory Sublime Ruby in Japan and South Korea, this is the first time the Ruby chocolate will be available in an iconic four finger format and we are sure that the Ruby chocolate KITKAT will be a great hit in the UK.â
The KitKat Ruby is the latest new flavour to hit our shelves after a Lemon Drizzle flavoured bar was spotted in ASDA supermarkets back in January.
The KitKat Ruby will be exclusively available in Tesco stores from 16th April.

Cranberry, Vodka And Raspberry Cocktail
If you're feeling mature: vodka ain't for everyone. But if you get it right (like the Could I Have That recipe) it might just turn you. Ice and fresh rosemary absolutely necessary. That's where the grown up vibes come in.
Cran-Raspberry Spritzer
If you want to keep your wits about you: go for the MomDotspin on a vodka cranberry (i.e. without the vodka). This easy pleaser is just some cranberry-raspberry juice, fresh lemon, raspberries and some fizz sprite-like liquid.
Pink Watermelon Slushies
If you're not in the mood for booze: slushies are fun. As is watermelon. Half Baked Harvest says to put them together with some sugar, lemon juice and ice for some innocent, hangover free fun.
Pink Champagne Float
If you're feeling decadent: Countryside Cravings have a fun treat for you. Bringing the novetly of drinks with dollops of ice cream floating around into the grown up world we have a raspberry sorbet, champagne, sprite and pineapple combination going on. Best consumed with a spoon.
Raspberry Champagne Float
If you haven't broken all the good glasses: These pink champagne floats from The Perennial Styleare pretty similar to the ones before but look how pretty they look in tall wine glasses.
Raspberry Mojito
If you know what you like: can't go wrong with a mojito. So don't mess around with it too much, just throw some raspberries into give it a bit of a colour flush with this recipe fromRecipes From A Pantry.
Rosé Spritzer
If you've left it last minute and can't afford pink fizz: make like the Monika Hibbs blog and top up your glass of regular rose with some lemonade and add a fancy garnish.
