We don't mean to alarm anyone, but Christmas is just WEEKS away. The bad news is that we'll have to run around like headless chickens getting all our Christmas presents (and drop a small fortune on them too) but the good news is that means there's loads of fun events going on.
If you want a cosy winter night out then get yourself down to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland or Tulleys Christmas Light Festival, but there's also plenty of other cool stuff going on if you're not quite ready to get into the festive spirit.

Awards shows don’t get much more iconic than the MTV EMAs and this year, the ceremony will take place in Manchester. Not only is the bash being hosted by Rita Ora, but Raye, Benson Boone, Shawn Mendes and Teddy Swims will all be performing too. Oh, and just when you thought things couldn’t get any more star-studded, the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lucien Laviscount are handing out the gongs.

The NEC, Birmingham
Yep, it really is almost that time of year again. Christmas is right around the corner and, if you’re a food enthusiast, there’s no better place to get in the festive spirit than at Good Food Show Winter. Some of our fave foodies including Nadiya Hussain, Tom Kerridge and Jane Dunn of Jane’s Patisserie will be cooking live, putting on demonstrations and answering your burning cookery questions. The show also offers an array of tastings and workshops and, honestly, does it get any better than that? The answer’s no.

Eurovision on Tour 2024

The Eurovision Song Contest is always one of the highlights of the year, but if you can't wait until it returns in May then you can get your Eurovision fix when fan favourites from past contests come to London for a special evening of live performances. Eurovision legends like Emmelie de Forest (Denmark, 2013 winner), Senhit (San Marino 2021) and Sunstroke Project (Moldova’s viral Epic Sax Guy) will all be taking to the stage and there's even a fan zone filled with iconic Eurovision memorabilia, including stage props and the famous glass trophy.

Tulleys Christmas Light Festival
28 November - 23 December
Tulleys Farm, Crawley, West Sussex
Cheer up the the dark November nights with a light show at Tulleys Farm. There's twinkly attractions galore, festive food to be munched, live music, and 'roaming characters to interact with'. To be clear, we'll be doing no interacting - but count us in for a mulled wine at the ski lodge and a trip on the observation wheel. Maybe not in that order.
Tickets available here.
Greggs Champagne Bar at Fenwick
24 October - 31 December
Fenwick, Newcastle
Our usual Greggs order is a sausage roll with a can of Diet Coke and maybe a caramel custard doughnut if we're feeling indulgent, but if you want a more luxury experience then get yourself down to Fenwick Newcastle as they're serving up reimagined versions of Greggs iconic pastries alongside fine champagne. It sounds like our idea of heaven, tbh.
