The second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK came to an end last month after ten weeks of hilarious challenges, jaw-dropping runways and epic lip sync battles and, if we’re honest, we were completely devastated. What on earth are we supposed to do with our Thursday evenings now?
There is good news for fans of the reality drag competition though, as there are rumours that a third series has already been filmed and will hit our screens later this year after RuPaul sent out a casting call back in November.
While the BBC haven’t released any information about the upcoming series just yet, we recently caught up with series two’s resident fashion queen A’Whora and she spilled some MAJOR tea about what we can expect.
Speaking exclusively to heat, A’Whora said, “All I’m going to say is, for the first time in Drag Race herstory, something has happened and that goes for US seasons and UK seasons.”
“There’s two big things that have never happened in Drag Race,” she added.
“One is with a contestant and one is with what happens with the results.”

A’Whora continued, “It’s really very exciting. We’re making history, baby!”
VERY interesting. In the words of RuPaul, "We can't wait to see how this turns out."
A'Whora also revealed Kim Kardashian is a Drag Race UK fan as she let slip that A-listers Ariana Grande, Sam Smith and Cara Delevingne have all slid into her DMs since she appeared on the show.
“Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist DMed us and told us he watched the show with Kim,” she told us. “So, the Kardashians are watching Drag Race UK season two, what more do you want in life?”

A’Whora was chatting to heat after teaming up with Lottie London to celebrate the end of lockdown restrictions and encourage everyone to unlock their make-up skills as they're allowed to get social for the first time this year.
After surprising Londoners at Shoreditch’s Boxpark by bursting out of a giant 15-foot padlock and showcasing cult products from the cruelty-free, vegan brand last week, it seems the south London-based queen can’t wait to get back into the outside world.
“We’re finally released, we’re finally out in the world to let your hair down, have some fun and put on some slap,” she added.
