Just when you thought it was safe to answer the Landline, who has a landline? Or go to the cinema, they go and release another one. Sidney Prescott (who's been through enough tbf) is back along with a brand-new psychopathic killer. Poop your pants 14 January 2022.
Legally Blonde 3
The "bend and snap" is back people and Elle Woods is returning to the court room. With Reese Witherspoon back in the (pink) saddle and Jennifer Coolidge as her best gal pal Paulette Bonafante. Grab your little dog and head to the cinema 22 May 2022.
The Batman
The caped crusader returns as a vampire with floppy hair... well Robert Pattinson. Following the success of Joker, can Bruce Wayne's fortunes (he's already a millionaire) be turned around following his questionable outings in Batman V Superman and Justice League? With Colin Farrell as the Penguin, a murderous Riddler and Little Moe's husband from EastEnders in it – we can't wait for 4 March 2022.
Marry me
If you've seen the trailer you're already on board, Jennifer Lopez plays a pop star with a rocky personal life (where does Hollywood get its ideas?). Marrying stranger Owen Wilson and released in time for Valentines. If that's not enough to tempt you, Sam from Game of Thrones is in it too.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secret's of Dumbledore
The Secrets of Dumbledore is the third in the Fantastic Beasts series. And sees Magizoologist Newt Scamander return to defeat Johnny … oops, Mad Mikkelsen's baddie Gellert Grindelwald. There will be wands, wizard sleeves and hopefully more from Niffler. In cinemas 8 April 2022.
Blonde
No Time To Die, Knives Out star and Ben Affleck's ex Ana de Armas is playing Marilyn Monroe In this hotly anticipated biopic - Oscar anyone? With no release date confirmed, but Brad Pitt producing, catch it on Netflix.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Following the sad death of Chadwick Boseman, Marvel has confirmed that the role of T'Challa won't be recast. So, it's rumoured the sequel will revolve around Letitia Wright's brain box Shuri. Even though almost nothing is known (Marvel keeping secrets? Never) we can't wait to see what happens next in Wakanda and honour their fallen king. In cinemas 11 November 2022.

After a 12 long years, and a few bazillion dollars, we are all heading back to Pandora (you won't have a choice, the posters will be everywhere). With Jake and Ney'tiri now a family they find themselves in danger when an ancient threat appears. With Kate Winslet joining the cast and reuniting with director James Cameron after Titanic, let's hope there's a happier ending. In cinemas 22 December 2022.
The Lost City
Sandra Bullock as a reclusive romance novelist, Channing Tatum her cocky book cover model, getting kidnapped in the jungle, is giving us Romancing the Stone vibes tbh. With everyone in it from Brad Pitt to Daniel Radcliffe, see the stars not fall in love at the end. In cinemas 25 March 2022.
Black Adam
After originally reported to be appearing in 2019's Shazam, DC instead have given superhero Black Adam his own movie. Could Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in skin tight black leather help the studio rival Marvel? If anyone can, The Rock can, and we can't wait... In cinemas 29 July 2022.
Downton Abbey 2: A New Era
Will there be murder, mayhem, poor table manners? Absolutely not. Everybody's favourite family – The Crawley's - are back for a "New Era" in the glam South of France. With all our favourites returning, a wedding, old fashioned bathers, and the Dowager Countess at deaths door, get your butler to mark the calendar for 18 March 2022.
Lightyear
Ever watch Toy Story and wonder the origin story of Buzz Lightyear? You know, before a toy was made of him that came alive and then went on adventures. Well you're in luck, with Pixar's next big animated movie Lightyear and the dreamy Chris Evans (aka Captain America) voicing the slightly full of himself astronaut. In cinema 17 June 2022.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Billed as Marvel's first ever "Horror" Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff return following the mind-bending events of Spiderman: No Way Home and WandaVision. With a world to save can Doctor Strange do it? Expect jump scares and some serious cape action. In cinema 6 May 2022.
Matilda
Everybody's favourite book reading, moving things with her mind, clever cloggs child is back - this time singing and dancing. Adapted from the hit West End musical that was based on Roald Dahl's book, the amazing Emma Thompson has been cast as the amazingly terrifying Miss Trunchbull. See her (in lots of prosthetics most probably) in cinemas ready for Christmas, before streaming later on Netflix.
Hocus Pocus 2
Yes, the Sanderson sisters are back. If it wasn't for Hocus Pocus, would we even have Halloween like we do now? Despite having to wait a whopping 29 years, the sequel is almost here. With Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker all reprising their roles, streaming on Disney + sometime in 2022 (our money's on October).

In other movie news ...
The Enchanted sequel is finally happening, despite being delayed a couple of (what feels like hundreds of times) Disney has confirmed that Amy Adams will be returning as Giselle in "Disenchanted" to turn all our frowns upside down.
Giselle married Robert at the end of Enchanted and the sequel is said to pick up with Giselle questioning her happily-ever-after life.
Disney’s official plot says, "Fifteen years after the events of the first film, Giselle moves with Robert and Morgan to the suburb of Monroeville, where she's faced with juggling the challenges that come with a new home and discovering what happily ever after truly means to her and her new family."
With Amy Adams, Idina Menzel, Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden all returning, prepare to laugh, cry and sing along to some catchy tunes. Set your calendars for autumn 2022.
