As Coronation Street gears up for Christmas and 2019 with some HUGE storylines, including Sally Webster's release from prison and a MAJOR character dying in an accident at the Underworld factory, this week fans were distracted from the storylines when they noticed something very odd about the way that soap legend Liz McDonald, played by Beverley Callard, was holding her phone!
The moment happened during a tense moment on the ITV soap when Liz was on the phone to police discussing how her ex-husband Jim and his partner Hannah were NOT being held in custody.
When shooting scenes things can go wrong but fans didn't let this latest blunder go unnoticed and shared their thoughts on social media.
@jpcooper73 wrote, '@itvcorrie Nice to see Liz can make phones calls while the phone is upside down. With earpiece near her mouth' and @dannimurray01 shared laughing emojis alongside her comment, 'Liz speaking into an upside down phone 🤣🤣#corrie '. There were so many other examples but you get the idea! Maybe Liz just has really good reception in the Rovers!
