Thanks to the help of the Dancing On Ice professional skaters, ITV crew member Toby proposed to his girlfriend, and mother to his child, Patsy before Sunday's show went live... and it was ADORABLE!
Dancing On Ice took to their Facebook page last night (Sunday, 17th February) to share the tear-jerking video, captioning 'SO sweet it practically melted the ice 😍 Before tonight's show, Dancing on Ice crew member Toby proposed to his girlfriend Patsy. And she said YES 💍 Congratulations to you both!' [sic]
After Patsy was pulled from the crowd, the warm-up comedian sat her on a tall stool on the ice and introduced her to the audience.
The comedian said, "I've got someone very, very special that would like to have a little quick word with you", as Patsy nervously giggled. He then continued, "I'm going to bring in my friend Toby! Toby who is a big part of the show here."
It was at that moment the Dancing On Ice professional skaters emerged from the tunnel, to each present Patsy with a bouquet of roses.
"We've got the flowers, we just need one other person", the comedian continued, before Toby walked through the infamous skating tunnel.
Toby then hugged his teary-eyed girlfriend, before dropping down onto one knee to pop the question.
The audience went wild as Patsy wiped tears from her eyes whilst nodding yes.
As the this adorable moment was shared to Instagram, fans of the show were quick to comment, with one saying, '❤️ congratulations 🎉'[ sic], and another saying, 'Omg! How romantic!! She was not expecting that 💝 Congratulations Guys xx' [sic]
It seems romance filled the air last night, as we saw Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer performed an intimate routine to 'Jealous' by Nick Jonas, sparking viewers suspicions as to whether or not this was a 'dig' at his ex-girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson.
The pair wowed judges and received the highest score of the series so far, a whopping 38.0!
