Their spark only grew when they laid eyes on each other for the first time, but a spanner was thrown in the works during their trip to Corfu when Freddie admitted he'd cheated in the past. As someone who'd been cheated on "in every relationship", Catherine wasn't impressed with Freddie's past infidelity.
Tensions started to grow between the pair and this only intensified when Freddie brought up the idea of a prenup just before their wedding day, which, of course, did not go down well with Catherine. On the big day, Freddie's sister pulled him to one side to share her concerns that he and Catherine weren't compatible. He then decided not to marry her, leaving Catherine in tears.
