Filming for the ongoing series of Gogglebox has become uncertain as new lockdown restrictions in England mean that some of the show's regular families may have to separate.

Sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner don't, under normal conditions, live together but usually film together for the show. However, under the new restrictions, it is unknown whether this will be able to happen.

The first episode of the current series aired on channel 4 on 11 September 2020 and was supposed to continue through to December.

Will Gogglebox carry on during lockdown?

It is unknown whether the current series of Gogglebox will carry on through the upcoming lockdown. But, throughout the original March lockdown, the show made adjustments to keep filming ongoing.

While sisters Ellie and Izzi don't live together, filming continued for Ellie last series, whose boyfriend filled her sister's usual spit during lockdown.

Similarly, the Siddiqui family was split up while filming the last series' when Sid Siddiqui had to isolate away from his sons Umar and Baasit.
