I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! runner-up Jordan North won the hearts of the nation during his time in camp by overcoming his fears and narrowly missed out on winning the show altogether when Giovanna Fletcher was crowned the first ever Queen of the Castle, but it turns out things could have been VERY different.
The Radio 1 DJ has revealed he almost never made it on the show at all and was drafted in as a last minute replacement when another famous face dropped out.
In a chat with Greg James, he explained, “I was last minute. I got a call to say, ‘Maybe next year not this year’. Then I got a call two weeks later saying, ‘Do you want to do it? Someone’s dropped out.’”
And now the celebrity drop-out has now been unveiled as none other than A-list music producer Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, who reportedly had to pull out of I’m A Celeb due to a family illness.
A music insider said, “Shah was so excited to take part in the show as it would’ve been such a great platform for him to step out from behind the scenes a bit.
“He’s an absolute megastar in music and has worked with all sorts of people from Emeli Sande, Sam Smith and Zayn Malik to Beyonce, but only a few people know what the man behind the hits is really like.

I'm A Celeb's Jessica Plummer reveals how she avoided being filmed for shower scenes
The latest I'm A Celeb revelation comes after Jordan exposed the nifty trick that this year’s campmates used to stop private conversations going out on air.
He explained, “We were told we couldn’t sing Queen, The Beatles, or Disney because we can’t get them cleared, it means they couldn’t get the rights.
“So, if we were having a conversation that we didn’t want to go on air, we’d have a conversation, and we’d get someone in the background to sing, ‘I Want To Break Free’.
“I’d be there with Shane Richie going, ‘Is he really like that? Oh, I’ve always loved him on telly’ and he’s going ‘God, he’s nothing like what you see of him’.
“Then you’ve got Vernon in the background going, ‘Hey Jude! Don’t let me dowwwwwn’ and then we’d know it wouldn’t go on air.”
Oh, the things we could have heard…
