While the likes of Captain Lee Rosbach and Kate Chastain have appeared on several seasons of Below Deck, there are some cast members who only appear on one or two series but still manage to leave a lasting impression of viewers.
One such star was Kyle Dixon, a cheeky chappy deckhand who starred in the fourth and fifth seasons of the show before deciding to leave yacht life behind.
With season nine of Below Deck about to hit our screens, we thought we’d take a trip down memory line to revisit Kyle’s time on the show and find out what he’s up to these days.
Who is Kyle Dixon?
Kyle is a former British soldier and bartender who turned his love for partying into an international career working in bars around Europe, Asia and Africa. He then opted for a career at sea, first starting out on a fishing trawler in the North Sea before realising that yachting was a less dangerous option.
As well as sailing the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Baltic, and Arctic Circle, yachting also lead Kyle into reality TV when he joined the cast of Below Deck.
Kyle is fluent in many languages and also enjoys extreme sports like kayaking, rock climbing, and horseback riding outside of work.
How old is Kyle from Below Deck?
Kyle is currently 31 years old. He was born on 7 May 1990.
Where is Kyle Dixon from?
Kyle is originally from Manchester, England.
Where is Kyle from Below Deck now?
Earlier this year, Kyle revealed he’s started his own charter company which began operating in August. He’s also still into reality TV and appeared on Smuggled, a Channel 4 show in which eight Britons were tasked with sneaking back into the country, in 2019.
Below Deck viewers will know Kyle has a daughter, Florence, who is now seven. He’s also welcomed another daughter named Willow since appearing on the show.
