There really is no stopping the Little Mix girls right now. After dropping their sixth album 'Confetti' and announcing a 2021 tour, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are busier than ever as they have also started working on solo projects.

Last year Leigh-Anne, who got engaged to her footballer boyfriend Andre Gray during the first lockdown, announced that she had landed her debut role in a rom-com called Boxing Day.

And now the singer has revealed filming for the new movie, which is due to be released in December 2021, has wrapped.

Sharing a snap of the filming she wrote on Instagram, "And that's a WRAP! My first ever film and hopefully not the last!

"I think I got the bug now 😜 I am so honoured to be starring in #BoxingDay with @warnerbrosuk and @film4 coming to a screen near you next Christmas! 😍.

"This has been a dream from start to finish with the most incredible cast and team."

Warner Bros UK shared a behind the scenes snap of the festive rom-com on their Instagram earlier this year, where the 'Sweet Melody' star can be seen alongside her cast mates.

Aml Ameen, who is making his directorial debut with Boxing Day, has hired an all black cast for the movie, including Leigh-Anne, Aja Naomi King and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

Leon Jackson

This spiky-haired teen won X Factor waaaaay back in 2007, scoring a Christmas number one with a cover of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's When You Believe. And, while there's no denying that he was cute, the X Factor champion was definitely a bit too baby-faced for us to lust over properly. But, nowadays, he's looking VERY sexy indeed, after switching up everything from his hairstyle to his workout regime at the gym. He definitely looks good on it, doesn't he? Read more about Leon jackson's comeback career here.

Speaking to Deadline, Aml said, "It is such an honour to be teaming up with Warner Bros. Pictures, Film4 and BFI to bring Black British Culture to the world in this universal holiday rom-com.

"It’s long been a dream of mine to capture films that reflect the wonderfully multi-cultural city that raised me while sharing stories from the diary of my life."

Although it's not been revealed when the movie will land, production has already started for Boxing Day.

Leigh-Anne's announcement of a solo project followed the news that Little Mix bandmate Jesy Nelson has decided to quit the girl group in an emotional statement on her personal Instagram.

The remaining girls revealed they will be continuing as a trio alongside working on solo projects which focus on their individual passions.

In January, Perrie teased her first solo project 'Disora' on her Instagram account, all we know so far is the name but we can't wait to see what Perrie has in store for us.
