It’s been just under a week since the Love is Blind UK series two reunion aired on Netflix and, frankly, it’s taken us that long to recover from all the drama.

Four couples – Bardha and Jed, Megan and Kieran, Ashleigh and Billy, and Sarover and Kal – made it to the aisle and they all reunited for the first time alongside Katisha and Javen, who split just before their wedding day.

The reunion delivered bombshell after bombshell, with Bardha and Jed revealing they no longer speak and Ashleigh and Billy and Sarover and Kal revealing they’d split after getting married. At least Megan and Kieran had a happy ending and, after revealing that they’re still going strong, they’ve opened up about the ‘heavy’ and ‘strange’ reunion.

Speaking exclusively to heat, Kieran said, ‘It’s quite sad we’re the only couple that made it out of the experiment. The reunion, for us, was heavy, to sit there and hear what happened with all the couples was really sad, to be honest.

‘There was a little break in filming that happened before we went into our story, which we were very grateful of because it felt very strange to hear what was going on around us and then be like, ‘Hey guys, we’re really happy in love!’ We don’t want to throw shade at any of the couples on the show, we don’t want to rub it in.’

Megan added, ‘It feels like a bit of a cream pie, doesn’t it?’, before Kieran continued, ‘Our love story is amazing, we’re super happy. I think everyone can see that, but it feels weird to do that in a room full of people that clearly aren’t happy. I think, for us, it was a pretty heavy day and quite sad.’

‘It’s a strange situation to be in where you’re there to talk about how happy and loved up you are when everyone else isn’t, so it’s quite uncomfortable to be in that situation. We love everyone as individuals and we wanted them to work out obviously, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out and that’s life,’ Megan said.

‘That was their moment to hash it out. Some of them hadn’t spoken up until that moment, so it was bound to be a bit juicy, wasn’t it?’
