After eight weeks of drama, countless bombshells, a whole load of graduating and some incredibly cute moments, Love Island 2021 is finally drawing to a close tonight (Monday 23 August).
The 2021 series of Love Island was delayed after the coronavirus pandemic, but after a series of lockdowns and strict rules, we finally got to feel a little bit human again and obsess over the best reality show on the telly.
After Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole’s shock exit just days before the big final, the final episode saw Chloe Burrows, Toby Aromolaran, Kaz Kamwi, Tyler Cruickshank, Faye Winter, Teddy Soares, Millie Court and Liam Reardon get their glad rags on as they geared up for the live final in Majorca.
Host Laura Winter presented the final live from the villa, in turn revealing which couple had finished in fourth and third place, before crowning Millie and Liam champions. As in previous years, the pair decided to split the £50,000 prize fund, therefore going home with £25,000 each.
Who won Love Island 2021?
Who won Love Island 2021?
4th: Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank
Kaz and Tyler came in 4th place, but we're thinking the future looks bloody brilliant for these two.
3rd: Faye Winter and Teddy Soares
They went on quite the journey (YES, WE SAID 'JOURNEY.' YES, WE HATE OURSELVES) - Faye and Teddy came 3rd in tonight's final.
2nd: Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran
Toby's growth was REAL and enough to make him take second place with actual, now-official-girlfriend Chloe. We bloody love 'em.
Winners: Millie Court and Liam Reardon
After that Casa Amor blip with Lillie, Millie and Liam are your new reigning Love Island champs. Hoorah.
Before the big finale, we enjoyed the Islanders moments in the villa and saw them get a salsa lesson, write declarations for each other and have one final knees up at the Love Island 2021 summer ball.
