2018 Love Island contestant Wes Nelson has reportedly been BANNED from appearing on the upcoming series ofCelebs Go Dating after his ex Megan Barton-Hanson said she would QUIT the hit E4 show if he is asked to join.
It comes after the pair spilt earlier this year, following their romance taking a turn for the worse whenMegan publicly fell out with Wes' Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer.
Show bosses were reportedly close to signing the fan favourite but once Megan found out, she gaves the producers an ultimatum - her or Wes.
According to a source close to The Sun, "There was a big plan to get Wes onto the show but Megan heard about it and wasn't keen.
"No-one wants to be dating with their ex hanging around and she made her feelings perfectly clear".
The source added, "The situation would have been too awkward to bear and in the end it was a deal-breaker. Either bosses got Wes or they got her - not both".
However, bosses are apparently attempting to get Wes to sign up to the next series, with the source saying, "while the timing wasn't right this time, Wes was told the door is open for him to appear on Celebs Go Dating in the future".

This is the latest blow to the dating show after Katie Price and Kris Boyson had to pull out of the show after the model signed up for another dating show.

A spokesperson for the show confirmed their exit, saying, "Unfortunately it has come to light that by appearing in our show Katie will in fact be in breach of her contract with another TV production company. Katie and Kris will not now be part of this year's Celeb's Go Dating series".
But, do not worry, the line-up for the series is still AMAZING and will feature Jack Fincham, Lauren Goodger and the ICONIC Lady C of I'm A Celeb fame.
