Meghan Trainor is leaving her job as a coach on The Voice as she prepares to become a mum for the first time.
The All About That Bass singer made her The Voice UK debut back in January, replacing long-term coach Jennifer Hudson for series nine. Due to the global pandemic, the semi-final and finals were postponed, with ITV confirming last month that they would return to TV this October.
Meghan is due to continue her role via video link, but will be stepping away all together for the 2021 series after announcing she’s expecting her first child with husband Daryl Sabara.
“I had such a great time being a Coach on the Voice UK and spending time with everyone,” she said.
