Love Island fans were left in shock back in March when it was confirmed series four contestant Mike Thalassitis had committed suicide at the age of just 26.
Despite a number of former Love Island contestants urging the popular reality show to review their 'aftercare policy', and a number of people saying they think the show should be cancelled, series five is just weeks away.
Now, with the launch show in prep, it's been revealed that Love Island will NOT be paying an on-air tribute to Mike, following his tragic death.
According to reports, a tribute to Mike will be paid on the on-demand service instead, as they plan to share series three again (the series Mike took part in).
A TV source told The Sun, it is "more appropriate" to do it on there.

Mike sadly died back in March 2019, with a Met Police spokesperson saying, "Police were called to a park near Latymer Way, N9 at 0928hrs on Saturday, 16 March to reports of a man found hanged.
"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s deceased.
"At this early stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious. Police are in the process of informing the man's next of kin. A file will be prepared for the coroner."
Since his death, and the tragic passing of series two star Sophie Gradon, Love Island bosses have changed their care policies, with the 2019 contestant set to be given social media training and financial management advice.
The new series of Love Island is due to begin in June.
