Pete Wicks and Megan Mckenna's break up is all that anybody can talk about on *TOWIE *recently. Did she cheat with her ex, Harry Eden? Did he also text his ex when the pair went on a break? And was it all just 'crocodile tears' when Megan was explaining herself to her mum?
We're still undecided, tbh.
But one thing we are in agreement on is that, whatever the reason, Pete Wicks being single is bloody good news.
So you can understand our excitement when we discovered that Essex's resident FITLORD pirate is in talks to appear on Celebs Go Dating, and date non-celeb members of the public.
“A week after his split with Megan went public, Pete was approached about appearing on Celebs Go Dating,” an insider told The Sun Online.
“He met with the casting agent and is seriously considering it. Being on Towie is great, but he’d like to show more of his fun side on TV and Celebs Go Dating would be perfect for that.
“The show would love to sign Pete up – he’s handsome, has loads of fans and it would be no problem to find girls to set up with him for dates.”
Eeeek. Where do we sign up to date him?
This means that rumours Pete's dating Charlotte Crosby, which surfaced last week, are obviously false.
Or, you know, he's just going to do a Stephen Bear and date her secretly while he's on the show.
Pete wouldn't be the first Essex boy to appear on the show, after Bobby Norris was on the last series along with James 'Arg' Argent, seeking the help of Love Guru's Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman.
There have also been rumours that Pete, Arg and Bobbie's co-star Gemma Collins is joining the new batch of celeb recruits and looking for love on the show. Read more about that here.
