When news first broke that Celebs Go Virtual Dating's Shaughna Phillips and Pete Wicks were apparently getting jiggy, we were hardly shocked to our core. It's sort of Celebs Go Dating protocol that the stars engage in a bit of hanky panky now, innit?
Despite it being an actual-written-rule of the show that the celebs should stick to mere Muggles in their hunt for 'the one,' Love Island alumni Shaughna was supposedly grafting on former TOWIE star Pete; so what's the deal there?
Well, we caught up with Shaughna to set the record straight once and for all.

Despite previously hinting that dating experts Paul Carrick-Brunson and Anna Williamson had claimed the pair were well-suited, Shaughna was quick to shatter our dreams of a #Paughna wedding as she spoke to heat on Instagram Live. She spilled: "It's a written rule [that you can't date the other celebs], and I fully abided by it. I'm a little bit of a goody-two-shoes, to be honest.
"But, do you know what? Pete could give the Pope fanny flutters. He's such a charmer. It's almost hard not to flirt with him, because everything he says is just so flirtatious."
Watch out Pope Francis, hun. Your fanny will be all aflutter in no time 👀.

Shaughna continued: "Once you take that away, he's a really lovely guy.
"We definitely didn't break any rules. He's just, genuinely, a really lovely guy to talk to."
So not even a sneaky kiss, then (yes, we know the dates were socially distanced - IT WAS A TRICK QUESTION)?
"No. Oh my God. Boris [Johnson, of Prime Minister fame] would be on me if I said I'd kissed someone."
