Since Simon Cowell introduced us to Britain's Got Talent way back in 2007, the nation has been hooked every year, discovering what talent (or odd act) the UK has to offer.
So, now that the brand new series of Britain's Got Talent: The Champions is due to kick off on ITV on Saturday 31st August, Simon has been talking about the show, and expressed his desire to form another spin-off of BGT.
Speaking to The Sun, Simon, who recently lost 20lbs, admitted he'd love to create an Olympic-style series of Britain's Got Talent, featuring winners of the show from all around the world.
He told the publication, "I started thinking about maybe making it like the Olympics of Got Talent, but that would only be every four years.
"So now I am thinking we could do a Got Talent Champions League. So all the Got Talent shows from around the world send that year’s winner to compete against all the other winners. I think it would be brilliant because you’d be rooting for your country.
"That is way more interesting than just carrying on doing the same thing we do every year, because there’s got to be a progression. I think it would be amazing!"
Well, this sounds AMAZING! 🙌
Meanwhile, after weeks of teases, ITV finally confirmed which acts will appear on the brand new BGT: The Champions series.
In the trailer, we can see fan-favourites Paul Potts, George Sampson, Richard Jones and Collabro as well as some of the show’s other most memorable acts including Stavros Flatley and Twist and Pulse.
It's been revealed that each week, two acts will make it through to the final. The first will be a Golden Buzzer act chosen by either one of the judges or by Ant & Dec, and the second will be voted by fans in the live audience.
