It’s been almost a week since The Traitors final, but, frankly, we’re more obsessed than ever with the series three cast now that the show has finished.
More specifically, we can’t stop thinking about our faves Francesca Rowan-Plowden (aka Frankie) and Alexander Dragonetti, the Faithfuls that made it all the way to the final four only to be banished by eventual winners Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley as they just couldn’t shake their suspicions.
The internet was set ablaze on Friday night as fans took to social media to share their fury that Frankie and Alexander missed out on the prize money, but that wasn’t the only thing that had viewers’ tongues wagging as some fans began to speculate that romance could be on the cards for the co-stars.
‘I realise that there's an age gap but I'd really love these two to have a beautiful middle class romance,’ one wrote on X, while another added, ‘Guys if Frankie and Alexander don’t fall in love life’s not real.’
We simply had to get to the bottom of the rumours when we caught up with Frankie earlier this week and our new reality telly queen opened up about how she really feels about Alexander.
Sorry for any shippers out there, but it looks like we shouldn’t hold our breath for a Traitors love story.
‘I don’t think so,’ Frankie replied when asked about a potential romance. ‘I think Alexander and I are like brother and sister.
‘We get on really well and we had a great time there but he’s getting a lot of attention, which is lovely.’
The interior designer continued, ‘A lot of my friends are wanting his number, but I think we see each other as brother and sister.’
While our hopes for a romance between Frankie and Alexander have sadly been dashed, that does at least mean that he’s still available. Every cloud and all that…
Alexander is probably the most in demand man in Britain at the moment after winning us all over on the BBC One show and he recently confirmed his status as an eligible bachelor.
‘I am still single... I will probably leave it there,’ he told MailOnline.
Our DMs are open, just sayin’.
