It's been a massive 35 years since Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean performed their winning Boléro routine at the 1984 Winter Olympics, but the skating legends proved they have still got it during last night's Dancing On Ice final.

The final show, which saw Strictly's James Jordan crowned the winner, was full of surprises, including a spectacular performance from 61-year-old Jayne and 60-year-old Chris, as they were accompanied by the show's professional skaters.

Performing a magical routine to Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', viewers of the show were quick to praise them on Twitter. One user wrote, 'There is NO-ONE, NO-ONE like Torvill and Dean. Just caught up with their performance in Dancing on Ice. Perfection is a very moving thing.' [sic]

Another added, 'There are no words to describe the talent of @torvillanddean. Just wow #idols #DancingOnIce', with another writing, 'Could’ve happily watched Torvill and Dean skate for hours, superb that 👏🏼'. [sic]

Watch their incredible performance below:

Torvill and Dean won Gold at the 1984 Winter Olympics, performing their now iconic Boléro routine.

Just like previous years, the Dancing On Ice finalists were given the challenge to perform the routine, adding in bits of their own. After X Factor star Saara Aalto was announced in third place, James Jordan and Wes Nelson both performed it, leaving viewers at home shocked by how good they were.

However, there could only be one winner on the night, with professional dancer James Jordan picking up more votes from the viewers at home.
