Self-care will forever be our favourite hobby but we appreciate that recharging and putting yourself first looks different for everyone. Each week, we'll ask the celeb lot to share their ideal self-care Sunday routines, the hard-working beauty products they recommend to their friends and which TV show they're currently binging…

This week it's all about Ella Thomas, the Love Island season 10 icon whose cool Y2K style and dedication to a belted micro skirt landed her a PrettyLittleThing deal shortly after leaving the villa. Now she's back with a brand-new edit with the global retailer and it emulates her impeccable style right down to a T.

"This time around we have taken my second edit to the next level – it is giving all the glam ‘out out’ vibes," Ella tells heat.  "From going out with the girlies to date-night glam, this has got you covered for all the occasions. It has been curated for women to dress up, have fun and feel confident about themselves when wearing the edit."

To celebrate, Ella talks exclusively to heat about her self-care routines, beauty favourites, wellness habits and the £8 moisturiser she discovered in the villa...

On self-care

What does the ultimate self-care Sunday look like for the star?

"Sunday is definitely my clean the house day. Once I've cleaned the house, I love to sit and watch TV with a little peppermint tea and a hair mask in. The hair mask I've been loving recently is the Cécred Moisturising Deep Conditioner, £36, it is amazing. I really recommend that and the SheaMoisture Black Castor Oil Mask, £13.99, I mix those two and really just take the time to chill out."

On skincare

"When it comes to skincare, I believe that simplicity is key. I don't go too crazy or go overboard using lots of products. I'd recommend a good face wash and a good moisturiser. The one I use is the CeraVe Hydrating Face Wash, £9 and the Weleda Skin Food Moisturiser, £8.49.

"I discovered Weleda Skin Food in the villa and I've literally used it ever since. I use it morning and night and it's quite thick so I just take a little bit and it goes a long way. I just massage that into my skin and it makes your make-up look so good."

On make-up must-haves

What are the beauty ride-or-dies that are always in Ella's make-up stash?

"My Nars Cream Blush in the shade Orgasm, £33 it's honestly the best cream blush I've ever used, I really recommend that one. I also love my Maybelline Lifter Glosses, £6 they are my go-to, as well as the L'Oreal Infallible Concealer, £8.43"

On make-up tips

"A really good make-up tip is that if you want a full face glam is to apply everything in cream and then go over the same in powder form. So, use concealer, cream contour, cream blush, and then set it all with powder versions like translucent powder, powder bronzer, and powder blush. When you do the base really good, it makes the finished look really amazing."

On daily wellness habits

"I always pray every day and every night before I go to sleep. That keeps me very grounded. I also like to say what I'm grateful for and show a lot of gratitude. I feel like it gives me such a better start to my day and puts me in such a good mood."

On styling tricks

Ella is known for her incredible style - what is her favourite fashion trick at the moment?

"I love to style things up. I love putting on a causal little mini skirt or some casual shorts and styling it up with some heels or some boots and some jewellery and there is definitely lots in my collection you can do this with."

On words of wisdom

"I always say 'Life has no limitations and to go after everything you want'. Nothing is holding you back!"
