We love a bit of self-care and all this time at home has really given us an excuse to look after ourselves inside and out. Each week, we'll be asking the celeb lot to share their Sunday self-care routines, because taking care of yourself is more important than ever.

This week it's all about Meggan Grubb, the founder of fitness app Beyond, who makes strives to make workouts fun, yet effective for her loyal 1.3 million Instagram followers.

She is best known for her glute-focused workout plans, babein' gym wear collections with Bo+Tee and her chatty YouTube vlogs which honestly feel like a warm hug.

Meggs chats exclusively to heat about her self-care routines, skincare favourites and her brilliant advice on picking yourself up after a hard day...

On self-care

"I always like to have film days. I usually allocate myself a few hours of just being able to sit on the sofa and do nothing. I also go to the local bakery to treat myself to a mocha and pastry on a Sunday, then my fiance and I walk our dogs.

"I love having baths and doing face and hair masks. My favourite face mask at the moment is Beauty Sleep by Lush. I also treat my hair to Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector once a week, because I have very thin hair.

"On Sundays, I always redo my tan. I love Bondi Sands and always mix between the Bondi Sands Pure Tan and theBondi Sands Aero Ultra Dark Foaming Tan."

On skincare

"I've actually got back into a proper skincare routine recently and I've really really noticed a difference in my skin. I got quite lazy over the Christmas period and wasn't really taking that much care of myself because I had a lot more social situations.

"I always think less is more when it comes to skincare products. I think it's important to find a few really good products that work well for you and it just makes such a difference to how your skin feels.

"I usually use the Wishful Clean Genie Cleansing Butter to take off my make-up, then I use theAlpha H Liquid Goldwhich I think is a miracle product. I also use the Alpha H Vitamin C serum which I love because I think it gives a really nice plump glow to your face.

"Sometimes I will use the Bondi Sands Pure Self-Tanning Sleep Mask before I go to bed because it gives my face a nice natural tan when I wake up. It's like a moisturiser that doesn't clog your pores.

"That's my skincare routine at the moment and in the last three weeks, I've noticed such a difference to my skin.

"I also love the Lush skincare and face masks, my fiance has loads of their stuff too. They're in a really nice little pot as well and they look very natural in their packaging. They're a little bit more affordable if you're on a budget".

On vision boards

Meggan Grubb vision board

"I've always been interested in vision boards and I actually did my first one last week. It was so nice to make it as it made me feel really creative and inspired. I know people like to do vision boards as a way to manifest their dreams.

"When you make a board with images that are your biggest goals and you're sitting next to it every day, it keeps you focused on what your vision is. I loved making mine, I put really cute quotes in it like 'life is better when you're laughing' as that is something that I want to live by this year."

"I also love journaling and I do it through my app, Beyond. I also have this very technical manifestation planner. I'm not that big on manifestation usually, but I guess it does have that element of creating your dream life. I am such a planner. I really believe writing down a couple of things for small wins each morning and evening can really make such a difference to your day."

On picking yourself up after a bad day

Meggan Grubb

"I always remember that tomorrow is a new day and that we have to have bad days to have good days. Life is full of ups and downs and that's just the way life is. I try to remove myself from the situation when I don't have a good day and feel like everything is going wrong. Sometimes you have to just ride the wave because when you fight your feelings it actually makes you feel worse. It's okay to have a bad day and feel down.

"To make myself feel better I'll cuddle my dogs, put on a series I like and just start the next day fresh".
