Hello and welcome to another version of 'here are the top things to buy in the name of beauty' but this time, it's from the wizards at Klarna.

Yep, they've looked into wish lists compiled by avid shoppers across the UK and have kindly revealed the crème de la crème of beauty products.

CORR, please do tell us the best beauty products to spend our precious coin on, so we can go forth and enjoy other things on our to-do list, like eating a delicious bagel. Or thenew melt-in-mouth Weetabix cereal.

Turns out Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Creamis the number one sought-after beauty buy (which, FYI. is actually pronounced 'Boom Boom' in Brazil). From smelling like an 'actual holiday' and promising to tone up your pins, we can definitely see why it bagged the top spot.

The results are based on the number of opens and saves to wish lists amongst 4 million* Klarna app users, collected from August 2020 – February 2021.

So, drum roll please. Here are the top 10 beauty items on everyone’s wish lists. Enjoy.

How to give your beauty stash a spring clean:

If you feel like your bathroom #shelfie is getting out of hand and you have more face creams than 2021 plans (same) then here is how to work out what to keep, donate and bin...

Keep: anything that you love and use regularly. Also make sure your products are still in date and haven't gone a weird colour/smell off. Some products do naturally alter over time which are still completely fine to use - do your research.

Donate: treat your pals or a beauty bank to anything that doesn't suit you/isn't your taste, but is still in great condition. The red lippie you will never wear, may be your sister's dream hue.

Bin(/recycle if you can!): Anything out of date. Check this helpful article for guidance, as each product has a different lifespan. E.g. mascaras only last four to six months, whereas foundations last up to a year after they've been opened.
