The hit Netflix series Sex Education is finally returning to our screens for season three and we're beyond excited. Will Gillian Anderson remain the most fanciable person on telly? Yes. Is a Harry Potter star joining the cast? Yes. Will Maeve and Otis run hand-in-hand together into the sunset? HOPEFULLY.

To celebrate the arrival of season three, our pals at NYX Professional Makeup have released an exciting collab which includes the hilarious 'Always On Top' Matte Setting Spritz (£12), inspired by Otis and a 'Bush Tamer' Brow Glue (£6.50) inspired by Maeve, which promises to hold your brows in place for 16 hours

What happened in season two of Sex Education?

Despite a rocky start and middle, Otis and Maeve's 'will-they-won't-they' love saga culminated in him confessing his love for her via voicemail, which was then deleted by Maeve's current love interest, Isaac.

Maeve attempted to rekindle a relationship with her mother, who is a recovering drug addict and was faced with the impossible decision to turn her into Child Protective Services to protect her young half-sister when she discovers that she's using again.

We met French transfer student Rahim in season two, who began dating Eric - much to his surprise. But when Adam is kicked out of military school and returns, Eric's life becomes much more complicated as they share a kiss, and Adam realises that he's bisexual. Shortly after, Eric breaks it off with Adam, citing that he can't be with someone who won't hold his hand in public.

During Romeo and Juliet: The Musical, Adam bursts into the auditorium in true epic rom-com style, asking if Eric will hold his hand. Unfortunately for Rahim, Eric does, and it looks like season three will explore their relationship further.

We saw some seriously empowering scenes from the girls of the show, as they rallied around Aimee after her terrifying encounter on the school bus. With the support of Maeve, Ola, Viv, Lily and Olivia, Aimee overcomes her fear.

The final bombshell of season two centred around Otis's mum, Jean, who breaks up with Jakob after kissing Otis's dad in a moment of weakness. We learn at the end of the season that she's pregnant with Jakob's child, which should definitely make for some interesting viewing.

Roll on 17 September, we can't wait to see what the show has in store next.
