We love a bit of self-care and all this time at home has really given us an excuse to look after ourselves inside and out. Each week, we're asking the celeb lot to share their self-care routines, because taking care of yourself is more important than ever.
This week it's all about Yazmin Oukhellou, the TOWIE star turned girl boss who has THREE businesses under her belt including The Wellness Retreat Marrakech and fitness app Live Like Yaz. Phew.
The 27-year-old also works with huuge fashion brands and just launched a babein' new collection with I Saw It First, which she dubbed "high end fashion at a cost of the price."
Yaz chats exclusively to heat about her ultimate self-care routine, skincare favourites and the book that changed her life...
On daily wellness habits
Yazmin is the queen of wellness (she even founded a wellness retreat business) so we naturally needed the piping hot tea on how she incorporates it into her every day. Clue: it's time to open up Headspace...
"Every morning, I try to put on a morning meditation before I get out of bed just to start my day off positive. I think for me, self-love and also gratitude is a really, really big thing. So I try to do that every single morning and also before I go to sleep, I put on a sleep meditation to unblock my chakras and I think that really, really does help."
"I've also got my wellness retreat in Marrakesh and that's all about self-care, self-love and building yourself up as a person and just being the best version of yourself. So self-care is definitely very, very important to me."
Preach it, hun.
On self-care Sundays
Yazmin also loves a Sunday pamper and we've never related more.
"I like to run a nice bath and put my crystals in there. I put the candles on, put some meditation music on, get out and put a face mask on. I always do chamomile and honey tea before I go to sleep. And it will just be no alcohol, no sugary substances or sweets and things I do love to binge on. Just giving myself some me time."
On skincare favourites
"I love Zo Skin Health, I've been a fan of that brand for a little while now, but I'm a sucker for skincare products. I'm every saleswoman's dream! I go into a beauty store and they'll tell me this is the next best thing and I'm sold. I try absolutely everything."
Despite trying countless high-end products, Yazmin can't go past The Body Shop.
"I love the Tea Tree range and I find that it works just as good as some of these expensive products."
Any stand-out products, you ask?
"I love the Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask, especially if you've got a spot and you need to get rid of it for an event or something like that, put that on overnight and in the morning it's gone. The Vitamin E Moisture Cream is also absolutely amazing."

On her I Saw It First collection
Yaz is now an ambassador for I Saw It First ambassador and has launched her first collection.
"It's something that I've wanted to do for ages and instead of just picking clothes off the site, I wanted to really be involved in the whole designing process and have full control of that."
"I wanted this to be really chic, really high-fashion and something different to what I've ever done. So I wanted it to be a Mykonos/Monaco vibe and I think it really does come across in the collection, I'm obsessed with it."
"The black bikini is definitely my favourite. I think that it's really, really designer inspired by the sheer skirtthat matches. I wanted to give women and girls a sense of the designer luxury fashion, for a cost of the price. So you can have that look, but you don't have to go and spend fortunes."
On make-up for filming
Yaz always looks incredible on-screen and has years of TOWIE under her belt, so does she have any tips and tricks for looking camera ready?
"I always have glowy skin, I don't like to do anything too heavy. I think when I first started, I probably did go a bit extra with the makeup. If you probably look back, I look like I've been tangoed! Now I'm very natural. I mean, day to day I don't actually wear any makeup, I've always got my lashes and my eyebrows done, but other than that, I try and keep it quite natural."
"I love Mac Studio Face and Body Foundation, it's very, very light and water-based. I mix it with the BYTERRY CC cream, which has got a glow to it and it just gives you that fresh glowy dewy look."
On the Law of Attraction
"When I'm not distracted, it really does work for me. I remember years ago, I sat down with my mum and dad and I said, 'I'm going to end up on TOWIE'. I had quit my job at the time in the city and they were like, 'Yasmin, you're absolutely deluded, what are you talking about?' I said, 'No, I just feel like I'm going to be on TV'. And then within a month later, I was on the show. So I think it definitely does work."
"I will sit there and think something for myself or say something and then the next day it happens. It's bizarre. I'm one of those people who will think 'I haven't spoken to that person in ages' and then they'll call."
On life-changing books
"The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Dr Deepak Chopra, it's really amazing. It gives you the seven principles of being a good person and how to attract good karma and positivity in your life. It also reminds you not to be regretful about things."
"I think for someone like me, I'm, I'm really, really self-critical. As much as I might get trolled, I don't even almost take those on board because I'm, I'm the worst critic of myself."
On quotes to live by
"I think just be yourself and forget what anyone thinks about it and excuse my language, but who gives a shit? Just live your life and do what you want to do and live by how you want to live and don't listen to anyone else."
"The best thing for me is when people used to say to me even at school, 'you can't do that. I'll prove them wrong and make sure I'll do it even better than anyone could have expected from me."
We couldn't agree more.

Non-rubbish ways to feel er, less rubbish
- Start a new hobby: whether it's pottery or baking bread, now is the time to make the most of your free weekends and quiet evenings. Anything that gets us off our phone for a bit gets a yes from us.
- Make your bed first thing: a tidy bedroom equals a tidy brain, people. It will take you less than a minute and will help you feel more... y'know, together.
- Invest more in your friendships: the pandemic has meant we've felt more alone than ever before. Remember second and third-tier friends? Send WhatsApp messages, forward memes and even make their day with a thoughtful letterbox gift. Ah, we feel better already.
