What are the last posting dates for Christmas 2019?

December 25th is nearing, and the amount of time you’ve got to guarantee your gifts arrive in time is disappearing rapidly. To save you from missing out and having to pull out the never convincing “your big present is in the post, I promise” excuse, here’s a rundown of the last postage dates for Royal Mail and Amazon:

Royal Mail Last Posting Date

The last day for First Class postage is December 20th and December 23rd for Special Delivery. The last postage date for Second Class has been and gone!

Amazon.co.uk Last Posting Date

Amazon is a little more complicated. The last day for Free Standard Delivery is December 20th, and paid Standard Delivery ends at 9.30am on December 22nd.

If you’re a Prime member (or willing to pay a little extra for postage), One Day Delivery and Prime Now 2-Hour ends on December 23rd – you’ll receive your delivery on Christmas Eve, just in the nick of time.
