We've all been at the receiving end of a particularly competitive Monopoly game, and tbh we've been sore losers at times.

Luckily for long-time losers of the board game, the company behind Monopoly has released an alternative version of the game, where you're rewarded for making mistakes.

Available at Argos for £18, in the new game players earn money by doing things such as going to jail (where you'll earn Sore Loser coins), going bankrupt or paying taxes.

It's a bargain, too.

Players will no longer be rewarded for buying and building properties, but instead collect Sore Loser coins which you can cash in for Mr Monopoly tokens, allowing you to "stomp" around the board collecting money instead of paying rent.

Monopoly explain: "Oh, the thrill of revenge! With this hilarious edition of the Monopoly board game, the annoying things like paying rent or going to Jail actually help players get ahead.

"And those who really start sinking can make a comeback using the large Mr. Monopoly token that gives players advantages over everyone else.

"We've all been there and felt the pain, but now it's actually fun! Chance cards and Community Chest cards create and celebrate sore losers."

The game already has rave reviews, with one player saying: "Cant say a bad word about this game. It fun and keeps you entertained for hours. Definitely recommend and the price is reasonable."

Other reviews praised its ability to keep usual Monopoly-losers happy.
