There’s no doubting David and Victoria Beckham know how to throw a good party, and there’s another star-studded event happening this month – the Christening of their two youngest children.

The couple had sons Brooklyn, 20, and Romeo, 17, baptised in 2003, and now it’s the turn of Cruz, 14, and eight-year- old Harper. And to celebrate, they’re throwing a lavish bash at their Cotswolds home before Christmas, of which we’re sure they’ll be posting plenty of pictures.

“The Christening is a bit of a surprise for everyone, but Victoria had been thinking about doing it for a while, and now’s she’s decided it’s very important,” an insider tells heat. “Brooklyn and Romeo were christened together when they lived at Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire, and Vic can’t believe she never got around to the two youngest – and now it’s become a pressing matter, as Cruz is 14 and she’s worried he won’t want to do it when he gets much older."

"Vic loves to throw a party, and she’s been keen to do one for ages. Not only does she love organising something that will impress everyone, but she knows that gatherings like this are a way of bringing the family together and solidifying them as a unit, and at the moment, she feels like this is what they need.”

In recent months, the family haven’t spent much time together, due to David and Victoria’s work commitments and we’re told Posh thinks this will be a perfect way of reconnecting. Apparently, Guy Ritchie is set to be godfather to Cruz, while Eva Longoria and Victoria’s sister Louise will take on godmother duties for Harper. And the party looks like it will be something to remember.

'She's had a nose job with subtle changes'

Surgeon Mark says, "It's difficult with noses, because they can appear narrower due to clever make-up and contouring. It looks as though she's had some good work done to improve the shape of her nose. There are some subtle but definite changes."

'Her lips have been filled out'

"Victoria's lips appear much fuller and, to me, it's clear she's had filler injected into them to achieve a fuller pout," says surgeon Mark. "Lips tend to get thinner with age, so it would appear she's had help to keep them looking full."

'Her boobs were boosted with implants'

Surgeon Mark says, "She admitted having a boob job in an interview two years ago, and it's obvious from these pictures that she's had a breast augmentation. Her breasts are much rounder and boosted here – something you couldn't achieve simply by using a bra."

“Vic wants to go OTT with a lavish-but-cosy Christmas vibe,” we’re told. “She’s planning on decorating the house in full Winter Wonderland style. There’s a big events team planning the décor and, of course, the catering is being done by Soho House, as she wants the canapés and food to be sublime. There’ll be plenty of free-flowing drinks, too, plus music and dancing."

They continued, "The guest list is pretty fabulous – Elton John and David Furnish [godparents to Brooklyn and Romeo], Eva and her family, the Ramsays, Guy, and [David’s BFF] Dave Gardner and Liv Tyler. There’s also going to be a few new friends there, such as David and Samantha Cameron, who also have a home in the Cotswolds. They just want a really relaxed vibe – everyone is bringing their kids, too.”

Victoria and David – who once famously said he wanted to get Brooklyn christened, but “didn’t know into what religion” – also see it as a good way to please all their extended family, as Christmas plans are still up in the air.

Our source says, “There have been a few new arrivals in the family recently and Vic wants a glamorous event. It’s often tricky for them to see all their relatives at Christmas, so this way, at least everyone is included.”
