After racking up a jaw-dropping 85million followers, it’s fair to say that Addison Rae is one of TikTok’s biggest stars. Honestly, do you even have the app if she hasn’t popped up on your FYP at least once?

However, the 21-year-old social media star sent fans into a frenzy last night when she claimed she’d been permanently BANNED from the platform for breaking the rules.

Surely not? We just can’t imagine TikTok without her…

Addison took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a message she’d received on the app, which read, “Your account was permanently banned due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines.”

She captioned the post, “Well time to get a job.”

Fans were devastated by the news, with one replying, “Damn they actually banned you… why would they ban one of the biggest creators on the app 😭😭.”

Another begged, “Make another acc please,” while a third wrote, “TikTok isn’t TikTok without Addison Rae.”

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Addison’s account is back up and running on TikTok at the time of writing. Have TikTok seen the error of their ways and reinstated her account? Was the whole thing just a glitch? Was Addison pranking us? Who knows, we’re just glad she’s back.

Since rising to fame on TikTok, Addison has made some major moves. Not only is she besties with actual Kourtney Kardashian, the content creator also recently made her movie debut in He’s All That, a reboot of 90s classic She’s All That.

Addison’s even signed a multi-film deal with Netflix, meaning this is just the start of her acting career.

Last year, the LA-based influencer was named the highest earning TikTok creator by Forbes magazine after taking home an estimated $5million (£3.5million). Addison beat out the likes of Charli D’Amelio and Loren Gray who are also making megabucks on the platform.
