Adele flirts with rumoured boyfriend Skepta after updating fans on new album

An emoji says a thousand words

Adele and Skepta

Adele and Skepta shocked fans last year when it was reported that they were dating following her split from husband Simon Konecki.

It was claimed that the musical pair enjoyed a “string of dates”, with Adele even introducing Skepta to her A-list friends like James Corden and Laura Dockrill, but their relationship seemingly fizzled out after a few months…. Until now, that is.

Skepta reignited romance rumours this weekend when he exchanged some flirty comments with the Hello singer on Instagram.

It all went down when Adele shared photos of herself watching her headline slot at Glastonbury 2016 from her LA home. It looked like she was having a ball as she danced in her living room in the same dress she wore on stage and admitted she was “5 ciders in”.

Fans were loving the snaps, which have racked up over 4million likes, and they weren’t the only ones as Skepta slid into the comments to write, “Finally got your Instagram password lol,” to which Adele replied, “😜🖤.”

Adele and Skepta were first linked last October after he split from Naomi Campbell.

A source told The Sun at the time, “Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up. They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection.

They’re spending more and more time together. Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day.”

Adele also used her return to Instagram to give fans an update on her forthcoming album – and it’s bad news.

The 32 year old got us all excited when she announced fans could “expect [her] album in September” at a friend’s wedding earlier this year but has now appeared to confirm the rumours that the release has been pushed back to 2021.

When an eager fan asked if her social media comeback meant her album was due imminently, Adele replied, “Of course it’s not. Corona ain’t over. I’m quarantining. Wear a mask and be patient.”

Well, that’s us told then.
