Amy Hart recreates iconic Love Island villa in her back garden

It seems she's missing the villa as much as we are

Love Island's Amy Hart

With lockdown extending further and further into summer, many of us are having to cancel our holiday plans. For some that means spending even more time in our gardens trying to soak up any sun that we can get, but for Amy Hart, that means recreating the Love Island villa in her back garden.

Adding a stylish, grey, wicker couch, complete with brightly coloured pillows to her yard, Amy joked that she was soon going “to get pulled for a chat by my mum to talk about the lack of washing up I do.” She even included champagne in her recreation as a finishing touch.

After initial success in the villa, Amy was left heartbroken when Curtis Pritchard decided to end their relationship. Once out of the villa, Amy was linked to Toby Anstis and she recently shocked us on Celebs Go Dating after a successful date with Kurt ended up in the bedroom. Last month she revealed that whilst lockdown was making it tricky, the pair still spoke frequently and were getting on well.

Love Island’s Jess Shears and Dom Lever: ‘We still can’t believe we met on a dating show’

This time last year, the fifth season of Love Island had already started, and so we’re gutted that there isn’t going to be another summer season this year. Luckily some ex-Love Islanders have been causing plenty of drama in lockdown and we’re living for it.

WATCH Love Island girls Yewande, Belle, Amy and Francesca look unrecognisable as the Spice Girls

Both Anna Vakili and Francesca Allen have both been spotted having fights in public, with police having to break-up the screaming altercation between Francesca and an unknown individual outside the King Oak pub in Epping Forest, whilst Anna and her sister Mandi got physical in a row with teenage girls in Hyde Park, London. Lockdown tensions certainly seem to be reaching boiling point with this lot!

The pandemic also seems to have had a role to play in multiple couple breakdowns including Demi Jones and Luke Mabbott, Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi, and Ched Uzor and Jess Gale.

Luckily there’s also been some good news during lockdown from our ex-Love Islanders as Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt revealed that they are expecting their first child together. The genetically blessed couple revealed that the baby’s due date would be in October as Camilla was already 17 weeks pregnant. We can’t wait!
