It’s been four weeks since the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK came to an end and while we’re still trying to work out what to do with our Thursday evenings, the queens who rose to fame on the show are busier than ever. One such star is A’Whora – Drag Race UK’s resident fashion queen – who has been occupied with everything from TV game shows to fashion editorials in recent weeks.
The south London-based drag superstar earned a legion of fans during her stint on the RuPaul-fronted reality competition and only just missed out on a spot in the top four after a jaw-dropping Lip Sync For Your Life against her BFF Tayce.
Although she didn’t quite make it all the way to the finale, A’Whora earned a legion of fans with her quick-witted comedy and show-stopping runway looks and it seems she can count serious showbiz royalty among her supporters.
Chatting exclusively to heat, A’Whora revealed that, just like the rest of us, none other than the Kardashians have been glued to Drag Race UK.
“Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist DMed us and told us he watched the show with Kim,” she told us. “So, the Kardashians are watching Drag Race UK season two, what more do you want in life?”
That’s not all though, as A’Whora also shared that actual Ariana Grande has slid into her DMs as well as the likes of Sam Smith and Cara Delevingne.
Umm, WOW.

Speaking about why the second series of Drag Race UK has been so successful, A’Whora said, “Our cast was just so diverse and had so much variation that at least one person has been able to relate to one of the cast because we all have such different representation.
“I think that’s why it did so well because everyone can relate to it, which I think is really unique.”

As she gets ready to go on tour with the rest of the United Kingdolls, A’Whora has teamed up with Lottie London to celebrate the end of lockdown restrictions and encourage everyone to unlock their make-up skills as they're allowed to get social for the first time this year.
After surprising Londoners at Shoreditch’s Boxpark by bursting out of a giant 15-foot padlock and showcasing cult products from the cruelty-free, vegan brand earlier this week, it seems A’Whora can’t wait to get back into the outside world.
“We’re finally released, we’re finally out in the world to let your hair down, have some fun and put on some slap,” she added.
