Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has given fans an insight into the birth of her baby son Mexx in an emotional Instagram post praising her midwife Cheryl.
The 27-year-old shared a series of personal photos with Mexx and Cheryl and spoke about how her midwife had helped her through the first weeks of motherhood.
She wrote: “What a journey. I can’t believe how fast, emotional & memorable it’s been.
“Cheryl, You came into our lives and helped us through the best part of it, from the beginning you’ve gone above and beyond for Me & Kean.
“You’ve always been so professional & honest and we will miss you so much!!”

Brooke gave birth to Mexx, her first child with footballer boyfriend Kean Bryan, back in October.
She confirmed his birth on social media, writing, “On Wednesday 23rd October at 8.14am Our Baby Boy Arrived. Mexx S J Bryan, you complete us 🌍💙.”

Brooke's friends and fans were quick to congratulate the couple on their new arrival. Lucy Mecklenburgh wrote, “Omg wow 🙌🏽❤️ congratulations x,” with Kym Marsh adding, “Beautiful 😍😍😍.”
Sophie Austin then wrote, “Huge congratulations lovely x.”
Brooke has played Corrie’s Sophie Webster since 2004 but is currently on maternity leave.
She shared an emotional video of her last day on set before taking a break, thanking her co-stars for “keeping me on the straight and narrow and for letting me get away with murder over the years.”
