With the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing almost at an end, it appears that judge Bruno Tonioli is considering his next career move and if latest reports are to be believed, it looks like he could be about to release an album.

After wowing Strictly fans with a rendition of Frankie Valli’s Can’t Take My Eyes Off You last weekend, Bruno hopes to sign a record deal and release music of his own.

Revealing that he trained as a singer while growing up in Italy, Bruno explained the kind of album he would like to make.

“This won’t be a gimmick, it will be a serious album. I wouldn’t do it otherwise. I care a lot about it,” he told The Sun.

“I really take it seriously - I’m not a karaoke singer. I really have to know exactly what I’m doing. I know what I can do and if the right things happen I’d be delighted to do it.”

He’s aiming big too, hoping to follow in the footsteps of the likes of George Michael and Michael Buble.

“At the moment the girls are stronger than the boys I have to say,” he continued.

“There’s no new talent at that level like George Michael, I think the girls are cornering the market.

“Obviously you have Michael Buble who does a fantastic job or you have musical theatre people like Michael Ball and Alfie Boe who are great singers, but there isn’t really a solo act apart from Robbie.”

For now though, Bruno is focusing on judging this year’s Strictly competition.

Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher and Kids TV presenter Karim Zeroual are still in the running to be crowned champion, as are Eastenders star Emma Barton, comedian Chris Ramsey and football pundit Alex Scott.

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Michelle Visage was recently controversially eliminated following her dance routine to Madonna’s Vogue and threw some shade at the show earlier this week.

Michelle, who found herself embroiled in a Twitter spat with James Jordan after being axed by the judges, cheekily joked with Kelvin Fletcher he would be ‘sent packing’ if he attempted voguing after he suggested performing the dance with partner Oti Mabuse.

Ooh, such dramz.
