Chris Hughes has hit back atKatie Hopkins after she branded his ex Jesy Nelson “desperate” for posting pictures of herself online.
The Little Mix star previously revealed how a tweet from the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate left her “spiralling out of control” in her award-winning documentary Odd One Out but that hasn’t stopped Katie trolling her once again.
In a tweet shared yesterday, the 45 year old – who first found fame as a contestant on The Apprentice – posted pictures of Jesy that she had shared on Instagram and wrote, “These desperate daily pics are showing that contrivance of a documentary to be darn insincere.
“Girls. Be better than this. Beauty is in strength, not weakness that needs validating daily.”
Although they split last month, Jesy’s ex Chris was quick to defend her and slammed Katie in a furious tweet.

Responding to Katie’s post, Chris wrote, “How about don’t be a b---h your whole life and let that person live. You tried it once years back, and it affected her mentally, just don’t be that a--ehole.
“She has strength, she has beauty, and she has a heart that only you could dream of having.”
Jesy also seemingly made a dig at Katie in the caption of her latest Instagram post, which read, “Have another one hun 😉.”

This all comes after Jesy deleted all trace of the former Love Island star from her Instagram.
The pair often gushed about each other on social media during their relationship but after calling it quits, the Little Mix singer removed all photos featuring her former beau and unfollowed him - the 21st century way of proving things are totally over.
It’s thought Jesy and Chris split in April, with a source telling The Sun, “Jesy and Chris split up a couple of weeks ago. It was all very amicable and they're still really good friends.
"They had a chat on the phone about their relationship and both agreed that it felt like it had run its course - they're both absolutely fine."
