Chris Hughes has slammed a troll who messaged him pretending to be girlfriend Jesy Nelson.
The former Love Island star shared his confusion with his 513k Twitter followers after receiving a series of DMs from a fake account posing as the Little Mix singer.
He posted a screenshot of the messages, which read, “Morning babe,” and “Babe come on and chat with me.”
Alongside the screenshot, Chris wrote, “Okay this is odd. Imagine believing I might fall for this being my actual girlfriend.
“‘Oh yeah hi babe, sorry expected you to text me not message me on Twitter, this is different but how you doing, you okay?’

Chris wasn’t the only one left baffled by the trolls, with his followers also hitting out at the account in the replies.
“Don’t know about anyone else, but I find it so f--king odd people making accounts of celebrities,” wrote one.
Another remarked, “How creepy.”
“Some right weirdos about,” added a third.

This comes after Chris was rushed to A&E last week after suffering with a suspected kidney stone.
The 27-year-old was due to present ITV’s coverage of Cheltenham Festival when he was struck down by the illness and kept fans updated on his condition on Instagram.
Chris documented the A&E trip on his Instagram story, giving fans a glimpse of a hospital waiting room as he awaited treatment.
He captioned the post, “Just what we need on the eve of Cheltenham,” and added a GIF of an ambulance.
A representative for Chris revealed the reason behind his hospital visit, explaining, “Chris has been in some pain with suspected kidney stone - it has been alleviated overnight after a trip to hospital and some medicine and he’s keeping an eye on it, but is all set to present with ITV Racing this week.”
