We were very confused when it was reported that Love Island star Gemma Owen is dating grime artist Bugzy Malone (whose real name is Aaron Davies).
However Gemma has now spoken out and shut down the rumours by saying, "I have never met or spoken to him and we don't follow each other on social media."
LOL.
She went on to tell the Daily Mail, "I am not dating and I am definitely single."
The idea was fun while it lasted, tbh.
And Bugzy Malone also responded to the reports by posting a topless TikTok with the caption, "Michael Owen your daughter looks lovely our kid, but 19 just isn’t my cup of tea or coffee."
Well, that's that then.
It comes after a source told The Sun, "Gemma and Aaron have enjoyed a few dates over the past few weeks.
"They have told their closest friends they are dating and seem really happy together."
They went on to say, "Gemma and Aaron are keeping their relationship out of the public eye for now because it is early days.
"He is really into her and has made it clear how he feels. It is all very new and exciting for both of them but they are taking it slowly."
The reports came about after Gemma broke up with ex-boyfriend Luca Bish back in November and while fans weren't completely shocked (after Paige Thorne threw shade at one Love Island couple), Luca seemed a little stunned.
Shortly after Gemma confirmed their split on Instagram, Luca wrote on his Insta Story, "Switched my phone back on after taking some time out to clear my head after an emotional afternoon to thousands of messages and news articles about my break up.
"I would have liked some time to process this privately but as you all already now know, sadly Gemma and I made the mutual decision earlier today to go our separate ways."
