Last year’s Love Island stars have been making major moves since leaving the villa; from Liberty Poole appearing on Dancing On Ice to Millie Court launching her own edit with ASOS. Oh, and we can’t forget Jake Cornish joining the Dreamboys.

Now there’s exciting news for Hugo Hammond who has announced that he’s resuming his career a sportsman after joining a new cricket club.

Before rising to fame on Love Island, the former PE teacher earned a cap for the England Physical Disability cricket team, playing around the world in likes of Bangladesh and Dubai. Hugo will now play for Lashings XI and is even hoping to represent England PD once again.

Revealing the news that he was now sponsored by cricket brand Millichamp & Hall, Hugo wrote on Instagram, “Super excited to have joined @mandhcricket for the upcoming cricket season 🤝🏏🔥.

“The team make some serious bats and kit and I can’t wait to get back on the pitch soon and smash it out the park, not long now, big things to come…. ⏰ 💪🏼.”
