Jesy Nelson has taken to social media to address some of Instagram's "bloody weird" photo filters telling fans she "really [doesn't] understand" them.
Going off on a "rant", by her own description, the former Little Mix star told followers, "So I have been going through my filters on my phone and, I won't lie, I love a little Instagram filter.
"But every filter that I have been on makes my nose tiny and skinny, makes your lips huge and your eyes either a different colour or really big.
"Why does every filter change your nose?"

This spiky-haired teen won X Factor waaaaay back in 2007, scoring a Christmas number one with a cover of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's When You Believe. And, while there's no denying that he was cute, the X Factor champion was definitely a bit too baby-faced for us to lust over properly. But, nowadays, he's looking VERY sexy indeed, after switching up everything from his hairstyle to his workout regime at the gym. He definitely looks good on it, doesn't he? The 29 year old went on to add that she thinks that a person's nose is the most prominent part of their face.
"I feel like noses are literally what make you you and I don't understand why Instagram feels the need to literally squash your nose and make it really skinny.
"Like what's wrong with a standard nose?" she said.
Jesy then explained that she's confused by the feature, telling fans that she doesn't understand how the people who create the filters in the first place think "that's what beautiful is."
She continued, "I just think it's bloody weird."
Following up her "rant" with a jokey selfie, Jesy then snapped herself with a cartoon nose gif over her face alongside the caption, "Embrace that nose 🥰."

Announcing the departure on her Instagram, Jesy wrote, "I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.
"There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focussing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process."
We're wishing her all the best ❤️.
