Just days after they sparked split rumours when she deleted all trace of their relationship from her Instagram, it’s claimed that Jesy Nelson and her actor boyfriend Sean Sagar parted ways over his plans to move to Hollywood.
Jesy and Sean, who has starred in BBC One’s Our Girl, were first linked last summer when they were spotted on holiday in Cornwall and later confirmed their relationship with a loved-up display on social media in September.
But fast forward a few months and things appear to be all over after both Jesy and Sean removed any snaps of each other from their profiles – perhaps the most telling sign of a break-up in the 21st century.
A source close to the couple has now revealed the real reason they called it quits, with the actor reportedly considering a move Stateside to further his career.
“Sean is determined to make it as an actor and knows that time is of the essence,” they told The Sun.
“Jesy is looking at her own future too, so the time just wasn’t right for them.”
