Kaz Kamwi has opened up about dealing with a breakup just weeks after she split from Love Island boyfriend Tyler Cruickshank.
The pair coupled up in the summer after he entered the villa as a bombshell and despite a brief split in the wake of Casa Amor, Kaz and Tyler went from strength to strength and finished the series in fourth place behind Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, runners up Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran and eventual winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.
They went official when Tyler asked Kaz to be his girlfriend during a romantic first date back in the UK, but things just didn’t work out and they confirmed they were no longer an item in a joint statement released last month after fans began speculating about their relationship status.
Although neither Kaz nor Tyler has spoken out about their split since then, the 27-year-old fashion blogger recently offered her advice on how to deal with a broken heart during an Instagram Q&A when one of her followers asked for “tips on how to get over a broken heart”.
“Breakups suckkkk but they aren’t the end of the world 😌,” Kaz replied.
She continued, “Allow yourself to actually feel your feelings then throw yourself into your hobbies/thing you love. You’re better off keeping busy doing something that won’t leave you feeling empty imo.
“Boss up and keep it moving 😘.”
Wise words, indeed.

While she didn't manage to bag her man, she later coupled up with Curtis Pritchard who she dated until March 2020.

“We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We have had a fantastic journey and we will always have a special bond between us,” Kaz and Tyler wrote in a heartfelt joint statement announcing their break-up in December.
The pair vowed to remain friends despite no longer being romantically involved and added, “We will continue to be very much in one another’s lives and support each other in every way. We are so grateful that we have shared this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each other’s careers.
“Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a new normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us but we’re learning. Thank you to every single person who has supported us, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.”

Their statement came after much speculation as Kaz and Tyler hadn’t been seen together in public for weeks since they attended the ITV Palooza in November. At the time, a source told MailOnline, “Kaz and Tyler have decided to go their separate ways after giving everything to make their relationship work.
“They haven't got on as well outside of the villa as they first hoped and the pressure of their fans watching their every move hasn't made it easy for them either. The romance ended on good terms and they're still friends, who will support each other in the industry.”
