Oh, how we love a bit of reality telly cross-pollination here at heat. Whether it's Vicky Pattison and Spencer Matthews (vintage), Demi Sims and Francesca Farago or this whole Megan Barton-Hanson and James Lock situation, it's the stuff we live for.

So probably imagine the small yelp we let out when Love Island 2021 star Amy Day told us she's got a new famous fella on the scene.

Following that ill-fated romance with Hugo Hammond, Amy's revealed she's now dating a star of Shipwrecked 2019 at the end of last year.

Chatting exclusively to heat on the red carpet of Winter Wonderland back in November, Amy revealed her 'boyfriend' is her dream date to the Hyde Park attraction but declined to reveal the mystery man's identity.

Asked who her boyfriend is, Amy responded, "I can't tell you. You're not paying me enough today."

How much would it take to squeeze the detail out of her, then?

"A pint of beer and some churros," she explained.

"They're definitely not [a Love Island star]," she continued; slowly warming to our persuasive ways. "He was actually on the last series of Shipwrecked."

Now, a few months after announcing she was officially off the market, Amy has finally confirmed the identity of her reality TV star boyfriend. It turns out she's dating none other than Shipwrecked 2019 star Patrick Deaco.

Amy's spilled the beans about her romance with the dishy telly hunk and even admitted that they've already moved in together AND discussed marriage and kids. Blimey, it must be serious.

She told OK!, "I'm so happy, he's literally the dream. He's Thor's double! He's a mix of Thor and Jason Momoa, who's Aquaman."

The pair actually met before Amy appeared on Love Island but things fizzled out when she revealed she was jetting off to the villa. They then reconnected when Amy returned to the UK following her failed romance with Hugo Hammond and have been going from strength to strength ever since.

Amy continued, "I went on the show, came out and we just both naturally messaged each other saying, 'I'm still single, would you want to see me again?' And it's made us realise we actually have something special, so yeah it's all been a bit crazy!

"I just feel really content, I've also just moved in with him. We're doing the flat up so it's a manic time to move in but you've got to have your challenges in the relationship so this is a good one. I feel really content which is so nice, I found a man which is what I kept stressing, I needed a man and I found a man."
