Laura Whitmore has given fans the first look at her baby bump after announcing she's expecting her first child with Iain Stirling earlier this week.
The Love Island host had been keeping her pregnancy under wraps for almost six months and admitted that she’s been feeling “conscious” of her body but has now shown off her blossoming bump in a pregnancy photoshoot.
Laura shared a behind the scenes snap from the shoot on Instagram as she posed in her underwear and a denim jacket with her bump on full display.
Alongside another photo, she wrote, “I've spent almost 6 months hiding or being conscious of my body (well to be honest I've spent over 30 years doing this). But in particular as my body changed I have felt very protective of my baby bump.
“I’ve seen all sorts of comments: ‘oh Laura’s had a boob job’, ‘her legs are too skinny’, ‘has she put on weight?’, ‘she needs to eat more cake!’”
The 35-year-old went on to say that she now feels able to talk about her pregnancy “on my terms and in my words” and that she “felt like a f--cking queen” while showing off her bump in the “empowering” photoshoot.

Laura has also revealed she and Iain already know the sex of their baby but are keeping their cards close to their chest for now.
She told Hunger magazine, “We found out [the sex] quite early because they can do a test called a Harmony test, which basically looks out for things that could be possibly wrong with your baby and I think, like most expectant parents, we were quite anxious and worried so we did that and they were like ‘do you want to find out the sex’ and it was like ‘what!?’ so we found out quite early.
“For me it wasn’t about the sex, it was just about whether the baby was OK. You constantly have that fear. I think there are a lot of things that are important to keep to yourself."

Announcing the exciting news of her impending arrival earlier this week, Laura told her 1.2million Instagram followers, “So I’ve always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly. “Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning. I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade!
“We’d appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life ❤️.”
