With their sixth album due out next week, a weekly primetime TV show The Search currently airing on BBC One and at hosting gig at the MTV EMAs, Little Mix are four VERY busy ladies at the moment.
But the band have suffered a bit of a setback as Perrie Edwards has revealed she suffered an agonising injury just days before the launch of their album Confetti.
The 27-year-old told fans that she has suffered a slipped disc in her back and torn the base of her spine.
OUCH.
Perrie made the revelation in a Twitter Q&A with fans when she was asked, “Are you still recovering from learning the choreo for the video and the performance on The Search?”
The singer then replied, “SERIOUSLY! I recently found out I have a slipped disk & tear in the base of my back/spine and I die every time we dance. But it’s worth it.”

“Perrie is in pain with her back but she is soldiering on," added a music insider.
"It is a very uncomfortable injury to have but she’s not going to let anything put a stop to Little Mix’s mesmerising performances — not on their BBC1 show The Search nor the EMAs.
“For now, it’s business as usual and they are all eager to do the best performances of their career to showcase their new tracks,” they told The Sun.

It’s safe to say that Little Mix aren’t having the best luck lately. Not only was the first live show of their The Search postponed due to an on-set coronavirus outbreak, but self-isolating Jade Thirlwall was forced to appear on the show from home when it did finally hit our screens.
Despite the absence of Jade, who confirmed her relationship with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens earlier this week, Perrie soldiered on with her back injury as she performed the band’s new single Sweet Melody with Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson.
With a whirlwind few weeks ahead of her, including The Search’s second live show tomorrow (31 October) let’s hope Perrie makes a swift recovery.
