Lady Gaga, BTS and Justin Bieber lead 2020 MTV EMAs nominations

It’s one of the biggest nights in global music

The MTV EMA nominations have been announced for 2020, with Lady Gaga leading the pack after securing a whopping SEVEN nods, including Best Artist, Best Pop and Best Video for her Ariana Grande collaboration Rain On Me.

BTS and Justin Bieber follow closely behind with five nominations, including Best Pop, where they’ll go up against Gaga, and Biggest Fans.

The Best UK & Ireland Act award will be fiercely contested by all our faves, including Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Dave, Litle Mix and Stormzy.

The 27th annual MTV EMAs will air globally in a two-hour ceremony on MTV in 180 countries and territories on Sunday 8 November.

More details, including performances and presenters will be confirmed closer to the time, but MTV has promised to unite viewers at home with the biggest names in music.

Fans can cast their votes for the favourite acts from today until 10.59pm on 2 November. Voting is now open at mtvema.com.
