Love Island star Dr Alex George has moved on just two weeks after reports emerged that he had cheated on his ex-girlfriend Ellie Hecht over the course of their relationship.
Alex and Ellie confirmed they'd split in February after over a year of dating, with a source saying that “they had gone their separate ways after an emotional phone conversation" and vowed to stay friends. But according to reports, it emerged earlier that Alex had "sexted a number of women" throughout the course of their relationship before calling it a day.
And now the reality star and mental health ambassador has been spotted on celebrity dating app Raya, which is famed for helping famous faces find love.
A source told The Sun, “Alex wanted to get straight back into the dating game and has got a profile on Raya.
“He is using a selfie he took in his car as his lead profile picture and he describes himself as a campaigner.
“Alex also chose New Light by John Mayer as his song."
They added, "Seeing as he’s got a reputation as a bit of a love rat now, that song seems ideal.”
Ellie has also now spoken out for the first time since splitting from Alex and admitted she's going through "a difficult time".
She told her Instagram followers, "This has been a very difficult time for me so I really do value all the kind messages.
"However, I’d appreciate if you could respect my privacy at this time as well."
Her comments came after Alex took to Instagram to urge people "not to judge" over the weekend after the story originally broke.
Writing on Instagram stories, he said, "It's wise not to judge situations that you do not understand. Just a Sunday thought." He then followed up with, “Tomorrow starts a new week. Let’s have a positive few days ahead.”
Ellie and Alex got together in January 2021 and it wasn’t long before things turned serious, with Ellie moving in and becoming parents to a puppy, Freddie, after a romantic getaway to Mauritius.
However, after announcing the split, it then emerged that he had messaged a number of women during their relationship.
"Alex cheated on Ellie very early on in their relationship but she chose to forgive him and move on," a source told The Sun in February.
“She has really been his rock during a very difficult time for him and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.
“Unfortunately, Alex went on to sext a number of other women during their relationship and it all came to a head when someone contacted Ellie and spilled the beans about what he had been up to.
“Alex insisted he hadn’t slept with anyone else.
“Ellie is really struggling to believe him though because he was often away on work trips and messages showed him begging to meet girls in hotel rooms.”
Ellie now has custody of the pup and has moved into a place of her own.

What happened with Dr Alex George and Amelia Bath?
Before meeting Ellie, Alex was in a relationship with dancer Amelia Bath for two years.
The pair announced their split in July 2020, blaming the coronavirus lockdown which kept them apart.
Confirming the split, Alex said, "Guys just want to let you know, Amelia and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"As you know, we've been apart for most of lockdown which has been hard on us both and we both agree this is for the best.
"We will remain good friends and I have nothing but respect for Amelia. Thank you for the love and support always."
Dr Alex appeared on the 2018 series of Love Island alongside Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer. He made the final with Alexandra Cane but things didn’t work out between the pair and Alex became a star in his own right.
